Fresh mint gets muddled with gold rum, peach schnapps, honey syrup, and pineapple and lime juice here -- a tropical tiki classic created by tiki godfather Don the Beachcomber. It's one of the more refreshing, mint-forward entries in the tiki canon. Sweet, fruity, and aromatic, a great warm-weather option for rum lovers. Served over crushed ice in a Collins glass.
Ingredients
- Mint15 fresh
- Gold Rum1 oz
- Peach Schnapps0.5 oz
- Honey Syrup0.5 oz
- Pineapple Juice0.5 oz
- Lime Juice0.5 oz
Instructions
Gently muddle the mint with the rum in a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients and shake with ice, then fine strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a lime slice and mint sprigs, and serve with a straw.
