🥃 Serve in: Collins Glass
Ricard's anise-forward pastis meets orgeat's nutty almond sweetness here, lengthened with water. The orgeat softens pastis's strong licorice bite into something rounder and more approachable. A genuinely popular warm-weather aperitif across southern France. Served over ice in a Collins glass, turning cloudy as the anise reacts with the water.
1 - Pour the Ricard (or pastis) 2 - Pour the orgeat syrup 3 - Finally pour the water and add ice cubes at your convenience. Add the ice cubes at the end, otherwise the syrup and pastis do not mix well.
