Melting Snow

Melting Snow is as pretty to watch as it is to drink. Sake, orange liqueur and fresh lemon shake up into a bright, citrusy sour, smooth and clean with a zesty orange lift. Then comes the finishing touch: a splash of grenadine poured in at the end. It drifts down through the glass in a rosy blush, like the first thaw of spring. The flavour shifts as you sip, starting crisp and tart and finishing with a gentle pomegranate sweetness. Give it a stir to blend everything together, or leave it layered for the full effect.
Ingredients
- Sake2 oz
- Orange Liqueur1 oz
- Lemon Juice1 oz
- grenadine.25 oz
Instructions
Fill a shaker 2/3 with ice. Add all the ingredients except grenadine. Shake until chilled and serve in a chilled Nick and Nora. Pour the grenadine in last.
