Blue Añejo
🥁EServe in: Highball Glass
The Blue Anejo takes the Añejo Highball's build and swaps in blue curaçao for orange, turning the same aged-rum-and-ginger-beer highball into something with a striking blue-to-amber color instead of amber-on-amber. Aged rum, lime juice, and a dash of bitters get shaken hard, then poured over ice into a glass topped with ginger beer, so the rum's caramel-oak character still leads even with curaçao's citrus sweetness riding along. It drinks nearly identical to its sibling in flavor Erum-forward, effervescent, easy Ethe difference is almost entirely visual, more blue lagoon than Dark 'n' Stormy. Garnished with orange and lime wheels, it's built for anyone who wants a highball that looks as fun as it tastes.
