Bloody Mary cocktail in a Collins Glass

Bloody Mary

Vodka Cocktail Alcoholic

🥃 Serve in: Collins Glass

Vodka meets tomato juice here alongside a savory arsenal of Worcestershire, hot sauce, celery salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and a touch of sherry, with fresh yellow bell pepper adding real vegetal brightness. Invented in the 1920s and endlessly personalized ever since, it's as much about the garnish and seasoning as the vodka itself. Served tall over ice, it's the rare cocktail treated as a hangover cure as often as a drink in its own right.

Rim the glass with salt. Muddle the bell pepper in the base of a shaker, add the remaining ingredients and ice, then roll (rotate rather than shake) to mix. Fine strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish with a skewered celery stalk, cherry tomato and bell pepper slice.
