An original Pour Bears creation built for anyone dreaming of a beach vacation: Malibu rum muddled with fresh passion fruit and lime, lengthened with pineapple juice, and finished with a float of grenadine for color and a touch of sweetness. Double-straining is essential here, since passion fruit seeds have no business in your glass. Served over ice and garnished with pineapple and a maraschino cherry, it's tropical, fruity, and built for sipping slow.
Ingredients
- Coconut Rum2 oz
- Passion Fruit1
- Lime1/2
- Pineapple Juice1.5 oz
- Grenadine0.5 oz
Instructions
Put grenadine in glass with ice. In a cocktail shaker muddle 1 passion fruit (or 1 oz of passion fruit juice) and add in the other ingredients. Fill 2/3 with ice shake until cold. Gentle pour into glass. Make sure you double strain or you'll be drinking passion fruit seeds. Garnish with pineapple and maraschino cherry. Pour. Sip and Repeat.
