Mezcal doesn't do subtle, and lychee doesn't try to make it. This one's smoke wrapped around something sweet and a little strange — campfire on one side, tropical fruit stand on the other, lime pulling them together before agave smooths the seams. Shake it hard over ice, strain it over more, drop in a whole lychee like a peace offering. It tastes like a bonfire that got invited to a luau and didn't apologize for it.
Fill a shaker 2/3rd with ice. Combine the ingredients in the shaker. Shake until cold, then strain over fresh ice. Garnish with a whole lychee.
