Roses for Alex takes the classic sunrise build and swaps in rum: grenadine settles at the bottom of the glass, then a shaken rum and orange liqueur mix gets poured over ice on top, so it arrives with that same rose-to-gold gradient before you stir it together. A top-up of club soda lightens the whole thing and adds a little sparkle, while a couple of maraschino cherries lean into the sweetness already coming from the grenadine. It drinks bright, fruity, and easy - built more for looking good in the glass than packing a punch. Whoever Alex is, they're getting a proper toast.
Add the grenadine to the bottom of a rocks glass and add ice. Mix rum, orange liqueur in a cocktail shaker and pour on top, fill the rest with club soda and garnish with the maraschino cherries. Pour. Sip and Repeat.
