Regular and overproof white rum share the base here, joined by absinthe, falernum's spiced sweetness, green creme de menthe, and lime juice, traditionally swizzled with a stick until frosted. Its vivid green color and herbal intensity make it a distinctive, strong tropical drink. Popular in Barbados since the colonial era, it's a serious sipper despite its refreshing appearance. Served over crushed ice in a Collins glass.

- Light Rum1.5 oz
- Overproof Rum0.5 oz
- Absinthe0.25 oz
- Falernum1 oz
- Creme De Menthe (green)0.25 oz
- Lime Juice0.5 oz
Instructions
Pour all ingredients into a chilled glass two-thirds filled with crushed ice, swizzle, then top with more crushed ice. Dash aromatic bitters over the ice cap and garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprigs.
