Dating to the early 1900s and named after a U.S. Congressman known for his drinking habits, it's stayed a simple, reliable template for gin drinkers who want something with less bitterness than a Gin and Tonic.
Ingredients
- Gin2 oz
- Grenadine1 tsp
- LemonJuice of 1/2
- Club SodaTop up with
- LimeGarnish
Instructions
Half-fill a tall glass with ice. Mix the gin and Grenadine together and pour over the ice. Add the lime or lemon juice and top off with soda water. Decorate the glass with lime and/or lemon slices.
