🥃 Serve in: Old-Fashioned Glass
A gin sour gets a splash of grenadine for color and a fully loaded garnish of cherry and orange -- the Daisy format's whole trick is dressing up a basic sour until it looks like more than it is. Sweet-tart and bright, it's a snapshot of 19th-century bartenders figuring out that a drink could be a display piece too. Served over crushed ice, garnish included, no shortcuts.
In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the gin, lemon juice, sugar, and grenadine. Shake well. Pour into an old-fashioned glass and garnish with the cherry and the orange slice.
