Frozen Mint Daiquiri

Fresh mint gets blended right into the classic Daiquiri base -- rum, lime, sugar -- until it comes out cold, herbal, and a little green around the edges. It sits at the exact midpoint between a frozen Daiquiri and a Mojito, borrowing the icy texture from one and the mint from the other. Served with a straw in an Old-Fashioned glass, it's built for the hottest part of the afternoon.
Ingredients
- Light Rum2 oz
- Lime Juice1 tblsp
- Mint6
- Sugar1 tsp
Instructions
Combine all ingredients with 1 cup of crushed ice in an electric blender. Blend at a low speed for a short length of time. Pour into an old-fashioned glass and serve.
