🥃 Serve in: Cocktail Glass
A splash of olive brine slides in where extra vermouth would normally go, turning the classic Martini cloudy and giving it a distinctly salty, briny edge. Garnished with an olive -- sometimes several -- it's the pick for Martini drinkers who find the dry version a little too austere. The brine level is entirely adjustable, from barely-there to genuinely aggressive.
Pour the vodka, dry vermouth and olive brine into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice and shake well. Rub the rim of a martini glass with the wedge of lemon. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into the glass and add the olive. A dirty Martini contains a splash of olive brine or olive juice and is typically garnished with an olive.
