Lager and cider split the base here, with a dash of blackcurrant cordial thrown in for color and sweetness -- a British pub classic that's basically a variation on snakebite-and-black. The cordial softens both drinks' sharper edges into something more sessionable. Built for pub afternoons, not fine sipping.

Instructions
Pour the lager first then add the blackcurrant cordial. Top up with the cider. The colour sholud be very dark approaching the colour of Guiness.
