100-proof rye whiskey meets calvados and Yellow Chartreuse here in equal-ish measure, cut only with a splash of chilled water. The apple brandy and herbal Chartreuse add real complexity to the rye's spice, but this remains a strong, spirit-forward drink through and through. Named for the venomous snake, it lives up to its bite. Stirred and served up, built for serious whiskey drinkers.
Stir all ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a skewered cherry.
