Cachaca meets sweet vermouth here, along with Cynar's artichoke-based bitterness and a dash of grapefruit bitters -- Brazil's answer to the Negroni. That cachaca's grassy funk gives it a distinctly Brazilian character compared to gin or whiskey-based bittersweet classics. Bold and herbal, a great introduction to cachaca for Negroni lovers. Stirred and served over ice in a rocks glass.
Ingredients
- Cachaca1.75 oz
- Sweet Vermouth0.5 oz
- Cynar0.5 oz
- Grapefruit Bitters1 dash
Instructions
Stir (or shake) all ingredients with ice, then strain into an ice-filled glass. Express an orange twist over the drink and use as garnish.
