Grenadine and green creme de menthe get poured with real care so they sit in two distinct layers -- red below, green above -- named for the maritime running-light colors they mimic. This is a drink built entirely around the pour: rush it and the layers bleed together, do it right and you've got a genuine showpiece. Minty, sweet, and meant to be looked at as much as sipped.

- Creme De Menthe (green)0.5 oz
Instructions
Pour carefully into a pousse-cafe glass, so that creme de menthe floats on grenadine. Serve without mixing.
