Rye whiskey meets Campari's bitter edge here, with dry vermouth standing in for the Boulevardier's usual sweet -- noticeably drier and more bracing than its cousin as a result. A quiet, well-balanced classic for whiskey drinkers who prefer things less sweet. Stirred and served up in a Nick and Nora glass.
Ingredients
- Rye Whiskey2 oz
- Campari1 oz
- Dry Vermouth1 oz
Instructions
Chill cocktail glass. Add ingredients to a mixing glass, and fill 2/3 full with ice. Stir about 20 seconds. Empty cocktail glass and strain into the glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
