🥃 Serve in: Whiskey Sour Glass
An egg yolk -- not white -- goes into this gin sour, giving it a fuller, custard-like body that a standard sour never gets close to. Maraschino liqueur and orange bitters work underneath the lemon for real complexity, and the whole thing needs a hard shake to properly emulsify that yolk before it's strained up. Named for old-world glamour it's still trying to live up to, it lands somewhere between a cocktail and dessert.
In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a sour glass.
