Breakfast Martini cocktail in a Martini Glass

Breakfast Martini

Gin Cocktail Alcoholic

🥃 Serve in: Martini Glass

A barspoon of orange marmalade gets stirred right into gin here, alongside triple sec and lemon juice for a citrusy, slightly bitter sweetness. Invented by bartender Salvatore Calabrese, that marmalade gives it a distinct marmalade-on-toast character that plays cleverly on its name despite containing no actual coffee or eggs. Bright, tangy, and inventive, it's become one of the most successful modern gin cocktails since its 1990s debut. Shaken hard to properly dissolve the marmalade, then served up.
