The Sloe Kiss takes its name literally. Sloe gin anchors a shaken base of Southern Comfort, vodka, and amaretto, then orange juice and a Galliano float layer in slow, so the drink opens fruity and warms into vanilla-and-almond as you work through it. It's built to be sipped, not rushed: each pull tastes a little different as the float and juice mingle deeper into the glass. Finished with an orange peel twist for a bright note that ties the whole thing together.
Ingredients
- Sloe Gin1.5 oz
- Southern Comfort0.5 oz
- Vodka0.75 oz
- Amaretto0.25 oz
- Galliano0.25 oz
- Orange Juice3 oz
- Orange Peelgarnish
Instructions
Put Sloe Gin, Southern Comfort, Vodka and amaretto into a cocktail shaker and fill 2/3rds with ice. Shake until chilled. Pour into a highball glass and top with orange juice and the Galliano. garnish with the orange peel and serve. Pour. Sip and Repeat.
