🥃 Serve in: Cocktail Glass
Gin gets stirred with sweet vermouth and a couple dashes of bitters -- essentially a Manhattan with gin standing in for whiskey, minus any of the fuss modern cocktail menus tend to pile on. Its short, direct build is a throwback to an era before modifier lists got long and complicated. Sweeter and more vermouth-forward than a Martini, it's quick to make and doesn't apologize for either.
Stir all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.
