Real maple syrup takes over the sugar role in this rum sour, giving it a deeper, earthier sweetness than the usual simple syrup ever manages against fresh lemon juice. Easy to make and easy to like, it's the rum sour to reach for once the weather turns cold and citrus alone doesn't feel like enough.
Ingredients
- Light Rum3 oz
- Maple Syrup1 oz
- Lemon Juice1 oz
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes, and serve.
