🥃 Serve in: Coupe Glass
Cognac meets both dark and regular creme de cacao here, along with heavy cream for a velvety, chocolate-forward sipper. Its gin-based cousin came first, but the brandy version became the more enduring classic, often served after dinner in place of actual dessert. Sweet, smooth, and indulgent, it's less about spirit character and more about texture and comfort. Traditionally finished with a dusting of nutmeg on top.
Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a chilled coupe. Express a lemon zest twist over the drink and discard it, then dust with freshly grated nutmeg.
